Institut Pla de les Moreres is set in Vilanova del Cami, a town of 12,000 inhabitants, 3 km from Igualada (capital city of Anoia county) and about 50 km from Barcelona. In the town there are 3 public primary school, and we are the only secondary school.

The school offers Compulsory Secondary Education (12-16 year old) and Baccalaureate (16-18 year old), which is post-compulsory secondary education mainly aimed at preparing students for University and for Higher Vocational Training.

In total, there are 600 students and 65 teachers. We also have two social workers who support teachers with students with special needs. The Faculty and the Management team of the school work together to promote and modernise the school in all its scopes. 

We have been implementing CLIL methodologies in Art classes for 3 years, and we plan to broaden this plan to subjects like Technology and Science. Both Science and Technology departments are also very keen on international projects and ready to cooperate.

The school participates in "Pla Experimental de Certificació de Llengües Estrangeres": students certifiy B1 & B2 levels of English through EOI exams.

Students can also certify A2 & B1 in French with DELF tests.

We have taken part in the following European projects: 

- Comenius Multilateral Project "Tun-Y: We are Y'ers" (2012- 2014).

- Erasmus+ KA2 Project "Get Moving: Take part in the future!" (2016 -19).

- Erasmus+ KA1 Project "Open up your mind, open up your town". Setting up "Vilanova's Tourist Information".
